kitchen bench

been meaning to photograph the kitchen bench we bought to increase the amount of workable surface (our kitchen is small and we make lots of mess when cooking!)

here tis! big drawers. room for scales and heavy kitchen stuff as well as all our baking ingredients and equipment.

I like it a lot! Your kitchen is enormous compared to mine - plenty of room for storing giant knitting needles and crochet hooks!

it's from the original brunswick primary school which is great! and nina - those muffin tins ARE miniature :) hahahaha - the drawers are still huge and we've barely filled them to capacity!

You have a lovely blog. What a great find! Love extra kitchen storage.
Hmm, I often wondered how one finds out about ex-primary school furniture yard sales. I am about to adopt old timber pigeon holes which used to hold school bags, a hand me down from the in-laws.
