went to the melbourne jazz festival on saturday night with jarrah who was down from sydney and had a spare ticket. saw the tord gustavsen trio (norway) and the tomasz stanko quartet (poland).
to say thankyou and chew the fat, i cooked breakfast for her. made a few changes to a jamie oliver recipe for mushroom bruschetta by adding chorizo and fresh chili. served it on top of scrambled eggs and rye bread. yum!
also got my bake on and made strawberry and white choc chip cupcakes which went down very nicely with a cup of tea.
otherwise a very lazy sunday knitting whilst the boys nursed their hideous hangovers (suck it up buttercup!).
kee currently making mashed potatoes. perfect for this chilly autumn sunday eve.
